LOCATION: Parma, OH

Located on a tight, sloping, urban site, Behnke collaborated with the architect to develop a graceful, LEED-certified building expansion that infilled between the existing branch and the library system’s administrative headquarters.

Solutions to grading and spatial challenges include:

• 2,800 SF green roof

• two large bioretention areas

• terraced plaza with seat walls

• pedestrian entry plaza

• safe and efficient parking and circulation
