Morgana Athletic Complex

LOCATION: Cleveland, OH

The Morgana Athletic Complex was developed through a unique partnership between the City of Cleveland, Cleveland Central Catholic, and Slavic Village Development.

This complex includes a synthetic turf field for both football and soccer; a 400M all-weather track with field events; ticket booth; varsity softball field; visitor bleachers; pervious concrete parking lots; fencing; and pedestrian pavements. Morgana is the home field of Cleveland Central Catholic, and it will also be utilized for City of Cleveland Recreational Leagues.

This project utilizes several stormwater best management practices. 99% of all stormwater from this site was designed to be held on-site to naturally re-charge the water table. This was accomplished through porous concrete pavement within the stadium pavement and the parking lots. Each pavement area has a below ground recharge/storage basin. The remaining on-site stormwater is directed to infiltration.
