Elyria Athletic Complex
LOCATION: Elyria, OH
Working closely with the architecture firm of AVG, Behnke Landscape Architecture developed construction documents for all site work at the Ely Stadium Complex in Elyria, Ohio.
The project included: a 4,000 seat stadium with a 400-meter polyurethane track & synthetic turf football/soccer field, track and field events, vehicular and pedestrian circulation for this entire sixty acre facility, eight tennis courts, two natural grass practice fields for both soccer and football, stadium entranceway and drop-off, walks and parking for 500 vehicles.
The second phase included a new varsity softball facility and renovation of both baseball fields with over 500 additional parking spaces.
Future phases will include new softball fields, baseball fields, and additional parking.
